For our international client we are looking for a skilled Business Controller to join the team and act as a key strategic partner for business leaders, supporting decision-making with financial insights and driving business performance.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with department heads to optimize financial planning, reporting, and performance management processes.

Your tasks

  • Performance Management: Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis to optimize resource allocation and operational efficiency.
  • Business Partnering: Act as a strategic partner to department heads, providing financial analysis to support decision-making and achievement of business objectives.
  • Reporting and Monitoring: Prepare financial reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior management, monitor key business metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration with Operational Teams: Support the implementation of revenue-enhancing strategies, process improvements, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to automate and streamline financial processes, supporting innovation in finance.
  • Strategy Participation: Assist in shaping the business unit’s strategy, defining KPIs, and conducting financial analyses to support strategic decisions.

What we expect

  • Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Solid experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and engage with senior leadership.
  • Familiarity with financial systems, ERP software, and advanced Excel, along with data visualization tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience in financial modeling, capable of translating complex data into actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in managing change within an organization.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify financial concepts for different stakeholders.
