Your Role:
As a Serial Supervision Specialist Product Development, you will be responsible for the ongoing technical series support of drawbar products directly at our production site in Poland. You will closely collaborate with our Lead Engineer based in Neu-Isenburg, ensuring seamless communication and project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and optimisation of the product portfolio in the current series, taking into account quality, function and cost-optimisation;
- Implementation of engineering changes to series products and expansion of the product portfolio within the modular system as part of engineering change requests;
- Product documentation, creation and maintenance of master data;
- Carrying out and evaluating calculations and analyses (processing via Excel table);
- Review and assessment of deviations in products and components, processing of deviation requests;
- Coordination and control of activities within the scope of engineering change management;
- Checking deviations in products and components, processing deviation requests;
- Assigning the CAD team to create CAD models ready for release;
- Support with the creation of homologation documents;
- Involvement in risk analyses (Design-FMEA);
- Contact person for internal and external partners within the scope of the above-mentioned main responsibilities.
Your profile:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable qualification (Bachelor, Dipl. Ing., Master, Technician);
- Experience in product development or construction within the automotive industry, preferably in commercial vehicles;
- Proficiency in Creo, the PDM system Pro.File is ideal;
- Basic knowledge in SAP is ideal;
- Strong skills in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word);
- Excellent communication skills in Polish and English; German is a plus;
- A high degree of diligence;
- Knowledge in metal part construction and change management is advantageous.
