If you answered yes to the above questions, this offer might be exactly for you! For our client, we are looking for a Senior GL Accountant who will perform general accounting and reconciliations for assigned entities.

Your tasks
- responsibility for month end activities and month end journal entries for assigned entities
- reconciling balance sheet and P&L.
- responsibility for quarterly and annual accounting and tax packages
- ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP accounting, Sarbanes Oxley, and company policies
- ensuring effective internal controls for the assigned accounting areas.
- responsibility for local statutory accounting and coordination with outsourcing partners
- responsibility for internal and external audits
- participating in the implementation and upkeep of ERP system
- working with external accounting partners
- participating and supporting finance related projects and performing ad hoc tasks, as required.
- upholding company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
- supporting and complying with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures
What we expect
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance.
- 5+ years of work experience in an accounting or financial reporting role.
- 5+ years of experience in a multinational company and/or shared service center.
- 5+ of years of experience working with an ERP system.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills.
- Fluent to read, write, and speak in English.
- Nice to have - very good command of German
